Description

A rubber-ceramic lining consists of ceramic elements vulcanised into a rubber backing. The ceramics take the abrasive wear, while the rubber absorbs impact and vibration and protects the ceramics from chipping.

This combination is chosen for units where lumpy material adds impact to abrasion: transfer chutes, hoppers, launders.
