Chemical wear-resistant compound ChemPROTECT
Often in the field of equipment protection against wear, seemingly insoluble problems arise.
Let's model a "nightmare" operational scenario: incredible chemical load ("aqua regia" concentrated nitric + hydrochloric acid), thermal shocks (rapid temperature decrease or increase), intense wear (flow speed 10-25 m/s), peak short-term temperatures up to 1000 ˚C, and 100% humidity.
In these conditions, special 10 mm thick stainless steel would completely wear out in 7 days.
The chemically resistant compound ChemPROTECT by Weartech (based on practical experience) is guaranteed to last at least 180 days.
The ChemPROTECT chemical-resistant compound can be manufactured in several modifications:
- As an adhesive chemically resistant mixture with a granulometric composition up to 1 mm.
- As a standalone chemically resistant coating with high hardness.
