Description

Radial tiles follow the curvature of the protected surface. They are used to line pipes, chutes and other cylindrical parts exposed to abrasive wear. The tiles fit tightly, without the wedge-shaped gaps left when a curved surface is lined with flat elements.

Materials

  • alumina Al₂O₃: high hardness and resistance to mechanical wear, withstands up to 1600 °C;
  • zirconia-alumina ZrO₂-Al₂O₃: for extreme temperatures and aggressive media, up to 1700 °C;
  • silicon carbide SiC: high thermal conductivity, resistance to acids, alkalis and molten metals.

We match the tile radius, thickness and material to the diameter and duty of the unit. For a quote, send a drawing or the dimensions of the unit and a description of the conveyed medium.
