Kazakhstan increased aluminum exports by 4.7 times.
In Kazakhstan, aluminum exports increased by 4.7 times in the first four months of 2024 compared to the same period last year, reaching 75.4 thousand tons. This significant growth was driven by increased demand from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and the start of supplies to Belarus, Bulgaria, Italy, and Poland.
- The growth was achieved due to an eightfold increase in demand from Azerbaijan (from 5.5 to 43.1 thousand tons), nearly a tenfold increase in demand from Uzbekistan (from 0.2 to 2.1 thousand tons), and the expansion of supply geography to countries such as Belarus, Bulgaria, Italy, and Poland, - according to the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.
